Mine, Mine, Mine!

For those of you just joining us, welcome!!! For the rest of you, hello from a hiatus required for security...For everyone, here we go!We had to change from our old address to our new one cuz of all the wierd-o's out there who ... are perverted!!But now, we move forward....Today was a banner day for JM.. she began to do flips on the trampoline and she started to read real, live books all in the same day!! She has been doing a program where you learn to read in 100 lessons. She started in January- the same time I quit my "Part" time job and we began home-schooling... she is on lesson 21 and has been reading for a few days now, but today we picked up a book - not a lesson - and she did a splendid job of reading!! Woo-Hoo!! for my little monkey! Then, as if that wasn't enough for one day, she started doing front-flips on the trampoline!!! KJ-our little athletic superstar- was quite upset that he couldn't do them like JM... I tried to explain that she'd been in " 'nastics" for 2 years and had been practicing for that long, but that seemed of little comfort.. After a while, however, she tired of flipping and KJ was left alone to try and eventually bored of it. That night, to help boost his ego, we had a sit-up contest with IS, JM, KJ and Dad... They all tried hard, but clearly KJ and Dad were the winners.. Dad gave it all up saying that KJ wasn't competing fairly since he didn't keep his hands clasped behind his head... nevermind the 31 year difference in their ages!!!! Ha-Ha!!Well, I'll do more to update tomorrow... total down, 26lbs!
